The Association for Community Development and Entrepreneurship has been formed in 2005 by a group of volunteers who aim to support and take part in community development and progress in our country.

The founding members of the Association are composed of various different age groups as well as fields, such as management, sociology, economy, agricultural engineering, architecture and administrative sciences. For this reason, the founding members of the Association have considerable experience in their own fields and will contribute their own time and resources to support and maintain the sustainability and achievements of the association activities.

OUR PRESENT PROJECTS:

The ACDE is working with the BTC Co. Mediterranean Region Community Investment Programme implementing partner, G&G Consulting where Associations for Village Community Development and Entrepreneurship (AVCDE) have been and will be formed. The ACDE has taken the responsibility of helping these AVCDE to gain their identities, help with the coordination of their activities and give grant support during the microfinance implementations at the Associations.

The ACDE is in a consortium in the European Union - Social Center Component of Fener Balat Districts Rehabilitation Programme where the Association is designing and implementing income generating activities and training for women. The other consortium partners in the Project are the Human Resource Development Foundation and the Cultural Awareness Foundation.
