Women Entrepreneurship program has launched in Kahramanmaraş on 21 September 2005 (BTC CIP)

Women from different villages of Göksun have started to learn how to improve their skills and how to get involved in income-generating activities through improving their existing skills.

We are short listed in China for Micro and Small Business Finance and Institution Building Advisors to commercial banks and CDB on 16 September 2005.

Societal Health Program has launched in Göksun and Andırın on 15 September 2005.

BTC Community Investment Program included "First Aid" trainings and "hypertension" and "diabetic screenings" in 22 villages of Kahramanmaraş which presently has no health service in the village. Study is carried out in cooperation with Kahramanmaraş General Directorate of Health.

SRAP team has visited our BTC CIP project region

Regular SRAP visits were realized at Kahramanmaraş, Osmaniye and Adana. Team has made some meetings at Kurtpınarı ve Gölovası villages in Adana; Orhaniye and Hemite villages in Osmaniye; .... villages in Kahramanmaraş on 6 - 7 September 2005.

We have launched Social Center component of the Fener and Balat's district rehabilitations program on 23 August 2005.

We are cooperating with Human Resources Development Foundation and Cultural Awareness Foundation. (EU Project)

First 3 Village Development Associations were established in Kahramanmaraş. (22 August 2005)

Geben, Değirmendere and Tahirbey villages of Andırın have established their Village Development Associations under the name "Association of Community Development and Entrepreneurship" in Kahramanmaraş. Trainings and Micro Credit implementations will start under these associations.

We have participated UNDP meeting in Midas Hotel, Ankara on 2 August 2005.

We are providing consultancy services to UNDP for building Micro Finance sector in Turkey. We have presented our consultancy paper to all participants from Government and Finance sector.
